This alpine ski resort is located 50 kilometers northeast of Kamloops, BC in Canada. Known as the Tod Mountain prior to July of 1993, the resort offers 3,678 acres of skiable terrains which is the 2nd largest in British Columbia and 3rd in the Canadian State. Considered as one of the state’s popular vacation destination, Sun Peaks Resort receives an annual snow average of 5.6 meters and 2,000 hours of sunshine. There are 40 km of trails for the cross country tours, 121 runs with 12 gladed areas, and the 12 resort lifts that serves three mountains namely: Sundance Mountain, Tod Mountain, and Mt. Morrisey.

In 2006, after undergoing renovations, the resort added the new run named as the Orient Ridge and a new quad lift known as “the Elevation”. The resort also provides guests with an array of comfortable lodging options as well as great dining and shopping establishments.
